Terms of Service and Consumer Information
This is a translation of the Lithuanian original. In case of any discrepancy, the Lithuanian version prevails. Contracts are concluded in Lithuanian; by agreement we can communicate in English.
These terms contain the information that, under Article 6.2287 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania (the "Civil Code"), we must provide before concluding a service or sales contract with you at a distance (by phone, email, WhatsApp, Viber or this website) or at your premises (off-premises). The terms apply to all orders unless otherwise agreed in writing. Mandatory statutory consumer rights are not limited in any way.
1. Service provider
| Service provider | Žydrūnas Bieliauskas |
|---|---|
| Legal form | Sole trader (individual activity) under individual activity certificate No. 760258 issued on 3 October 2017 |
| Business address | Miškų g. 38-3, LT-20156 Ukmergė, Lithuania |
| Phone | +370 604 406 29 |
| astrodynamics.lt@gmail.com | |
| Working hours | Daily 8:00–20:00 (weekdays and weekends) |
| Service area | All of Lithuania; installation of STARLINK equipment also in Latvia and Estonia |
In these terms the service provider is referred to as "we" and the person ordering services as "you" or the "consumer".
2. Services and their characteristics
We provide the following services:
- installation, connection, tuning, relocation and removal of digital terrestrial (DVB-T2) TV antennas;
- fault diagnostics, repair and signal measurement of TV antennas and TV systems;
- installation, tuning and modernisation of satellite TV systems (dishes, LNBs, receivers);
- installation, cable routing, connection and testing of STARLINK satellite internet equipment purchased by you;
- installation and alignment of 4G/5G mobile internet booster antennas;
- selection and purchase of TV equipment (antennas, receivers, set-top boxes, cables, mounting parts) at your request and its installation;
- at your request – inspection of damage at the site (e.g. after a storm) and preparation of a defect report for an insurance company.
The specific work, its scope and the equipment used are agreed with you before the work starts, taking into account the location of the site, signal conditions and your needs.
The TV equipment we install does not require a subscription contract with a TV operator or a monthly fee for free (free-to-air) channels. The STARLINK service (internet connection) is paid: you conclude the subscription contract and pay the fees directly to the STARLINK service provider; we are not a party to that contract and are not responsible for it.
3. Price and how it is calculated
Because the work differs for every site, the exact price is determined individually. The total price is calculated and communicated to you before the work starts. It consists of:
- labour – according to the agreed scope and complexity of the work (installation height, cable length, mounting method, number of TV sets connected, etc.);
- equipment and materials – if we purchase equipment at your request, it is charged at the price stated in the seller's document (receipt or invoice), which we hand over to you;
- travel costs – if applicable (e.g. for remote sites), we state the amount in advance, before travelling.
Prices of the main work (excluding equipment, excluding VAT):
| Antenna tuning | from €60 |
|---|---|
| TV antenna installation (excl. equipment) | from €120 |
| Satellite TV installation (excl. equipment) | from €150 |
| STARLINK installation | from €180 |
The stated minimum price applies to the simplest work of that type. The price of larger or more complex work is calculated from the components set out in this section and agreed with you in advance.
Labour prices stated on the website are in euros excluding VAT; 21% VAT is added. We tell you the final price including VAT before the work starts. We do not charge any other additional fees that were not communicated to you in advance.
If the price cannot be calculated precisely in advance (e.g. the cause of a fault becomes clear only after diagnostics), we tell you how the price will be calculated and give an estimate. If additional work or equipment turns out to be needed, we carry it out only after agreeing its price and obtaining your consent. The agreed price is never increased without your consent.
4. Conclusion and confirmation of the contract
The contract is concluded when we agree with you by phone, in writing (email, message) or at your site on the work, the price (or the method of calculating it) and the time of performance, and you accept. Please note that a contract may also be concluded orally – consumer rights apply regardless of whether a separate document is signed.
After the contract is concluded, and no later than before the work starts, we send you a confirmation of the contract by email, SMS or another durable medium: the agreed work, price, time and a link to these terms (together with the model withdrawal form). You can also print these terms or save them as PDF at any time – the button is at the bottom of the page.
An enquiry sent via the form or a message is not yet a contract – it is a request for information or a quote.
5. Payment
- Services and equipment are paid for after the work is completed – in cash or by bank transfer according to the invoice we issue, unless agreed otherwise.
- Advance payment (e.g. for equipment ordered specifically for you) may be required only if clearly agreed with you in advance.
- After the work is completed we issue an invoice for the work; if equipment was purchased at your request, we also hand over its purchase document (receipt or invoice).
6. Performance of services and handover of equipment
- The date and time of the visit are agreed with you individually. If, due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. dangerous weather), we cannot arrive at the agreed time, we inform you as soon as possible and agree a new time.
- The work is carried out at the site you specify. You ensure access to the site and to the places where the equipment will be installed.
- We work safely; where weather conditions (strong wind, ice, thunderstorm) pose a danger, we may postpone the work by agreeing a new time with you.
- On completion we check the operation of the equipment and the signal together with you, explain how to use the system, and hand over the equipment and its documents.
- If we purchase equipment at your request, we hand it over installed at your site; ownership and the risk of accidental loss pass to you on handover.
7. Right of withdrawal
If the contract was concluded at a distance (by phone, online) or off-premises (e.g. at your home), you have the right to withdraw from it within 14 days without giving any reason, as provided in Article 6.22810 of the Civil Code.
Withdrawal period
- for a service contract – 14 days from the day the contract was concluded;
- for the sale of goods (equipment) – 14 days from the day you or a person indicated by you received the goods.
How to withdraw
Before the period expires, send us a clear statement of your decision to withdraw by email to astrodynamics.lt@gmail.com or by post to Miškų g. 38-3, LT-20156 Ukmergė, Lithuania. You may use the model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory. The deadline is met if you send your notice before it expires. We confirm receipt of your notice by email.
Effects of withdrawal
- We refund all payments received from you no later than 14 days from receiving your notice of withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees for such a refund.
- If, at your express request, we started providing services before the withdrawal period ended, you must pay an amount proportionate to the services actually provided until we received your notice of withdrawal (Article 6.22811(9) of the Civil Code).
- If you withdraw with respect to equipment, you must return it no later than 14 days from sending your notice of withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the equipment. We may withhold the refund until we have received the equipment back or you have supplied evidence of having sent it. You are only liable for any diminished value of the equipment resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply or is lost
Under Article 6.22810 of the Civil Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- service contracts after the service has been fully performed, if performance began with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you will lose the right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed;
- contracts where you specifically requested us to visit you to carry out urgent repairs or maintenance (however, if during the visit we provide other services or sell goods that were not necessary for the urgent work, the right of withdrawal applies to those additional services or goods);
- goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
Before starting work during the withdrawal period, we always ask whether you agree that the work starts immediately and inform you of these consequences.
8. Warranties and liability for quality
Legal guarantee
We are liable for the quality of the work performed and services provided in accordance with the Civil Code (legal guarantee). If the work has defects, you have the right, in the manner and within the time limits set by the Civil Code, to require the defects to be remedied free of charge, the price to be reduced accordingly, or the costs of remedying the defects to be reimbursed, and in cases provided by law – to terminate the contract and claim damages.
Goods (equipment) are covered by the statutory legal guarantee: you may claim for lack of conformity of goods within 2 years of delivery (Article 6.363 of the Civil Code).
Manufacturer's or seller's commercial warranty
If we purchase equipment at your request, we hand over its purchase document, on the basis of which you can use the commercial warranty provided by the manufacturer or seller of the equipment (its terms and duration are set by the warrantor). If needed, we help you make use of it.
Additional (commercial) warranty for work
We do not provide a separate additional commercial warranty for the work beyond the legal guarantee described above, unless one is expressly stated for a specific order in the contract confirmation or invoice (together with its duration and terms).
When we are not liable
We are not liable for defects arising after handover due to actions of third parties, improper use, unauthorised relocation or adjustment of the equipment, natural phenomena (lightning, storm, ice), power grid failures, or for changes and disruptions of services by TV broadcasters, satellite operators or internet service providers (including STARLINK). In such cases we can fix faults as a new service at an agreed price. This provision does not limit your statutory rights.
After-sales service
If a fault occurs or you have questions about the installed system, contact us by phone +370 604 406 29 or email astrodynamics.lt@gmail.com. We provide advice, visit the site and fix faults.
9. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with the services or equipment, please first contact us in writing by email to astrodynamics.lt@gmail.com or by post to Miškų g. 38-3, LT-20156 Ukmergė, Lithuania. Please state your name, contact details, date and place of the work, a description of the problem and your claim; attach photos or documents if you have them.
We will examine your request and reply in writing no later than 14 days from receipt, as required by the Law on Consumer Protection of the Republic of Lithuania.
10. Out-of-court dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied with our reply or have not received it within 14 days, you can apply to the institution that resolves consumer disputes out of court.
You may apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority no later than one year from the date you contacted us. You also have the right to bring the dispute before the courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
11. Duration of the contract
Our contracts are one-off: the contract is valid until the agreed work is completed and fully paid. We do not conclude long-term, automatically renewed or subscription contracts, and do not apply a minimum contract period or recurring fees.
12. Trademarks and independence
"Starlink" and "SpaceX" are trademarks of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. We are an independent installation service provider: we are not representatives, partners or distributors of SpaceX or Starlink and are not affiliated with them. These names are used on the website only to indicate the equipment we work with. You purchase STARLINK equipment and service directly from their provider; we provide only the installation and connection service for the equipment.
13. Final provisions
- The contract is governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Contracts are concluded in Lithuanian; by agreement we can communicate in English, Polish or Russian.
- Personal data are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- We may amend these terms. The terms in force at the time the contract was concluded apply to you.
